While President Trump has spent much of his presidency ragging on former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and boasting about how he beat her in the 2016 presidential election, Clinton believes she is the real winner.
When asked by ITK recently what the best part about losing the election was, she responded that she loves getting to see her grandchildren.
Clinton told ITK the best part of losing the election is “my grandchildren. I get to see them all the time. I get to spend a lot of time with them.”
Referring to her daughter Chelsea’s two children, 3-year-old Charlotte and 19-month-old Aidan, Clinton said, “They’re the loves of my life. Everyday is an adventure. I just finished FaceTiming with them.”
ITK caught up with Clinton on Monday at a party celebrating the release of Lanny Davis’ new book, ‘The Unmaking of the President 2016: How FBI Director James Comey Cost Hillary Clinton the Presidency.”
Davis laughed and said that at least Clinton is “relaxing, and enjoying life, and not suffering all the pressures” of being in the political spotlight, unlike President Trump who is clearly not enjoying life as President.
Do you think Clinton got the better end of the deal by NOT winning the election?
