The Trump administration is still trying to master how to gracefully dodge questions they don’t want to answer, but White House advisor Ivanka Trump isn’t handling that well.

On a background White House call hosted by Ivanka Trump and Holli Richmond, director of the President Trump’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition, in advance of “White House Sports and Fitness Day,” Ivanka reportedly dropped the call and stormed out of the room after being asked to comment on her father’s new exercise regimen and questions pertaining to Chinese trademarks being awarded to her fashion brand.

“You can refer those questions to the press office,” said Ninio Fetalvo, Ivanka’s press aide.

According to CBC News, a reporter asked Ivanka for an update on her father’s fitness after Dr. Ronny Jackson notified the White House press corps earlier in the year that he had advised the president to lose some weight in 2018.

“So Ivanka had to step out for another meeting, but Holli is here to take on the additional questions,” Fetalvo replied after a brief pause.

Classic dodge and run move.

Of course, the White House refused to make a statement on this matter.

However, sources say what really triggered Ivanka was the topic covering Chinese trademarks. And why wouldn’t it? It’s yet another indicator of the grift that’s endemic to this White House — her father somehow mysteriously decides to go to bat to save Chinese mega-corporation ZTE, and somehow mysteriously Ivanka’s brand is awarded more than a dozen trademarks within the next two weeks?

There’s really a pretty straight line to be drawn between the two things.

If Ivanka can’t stand the heat, she should get out of the kitchen or, in this case, the White House. She’s another criminal who believes she is entitled to whatever she wants. She will fall too, once her father does, one by one will go down. It’s just a matter of time.
